Involved in the AWANA program at Family Community Church since 2013, and currently the Sparks large group leader and the 1st grade table leader.
Served on the NCFCA (National Christian Forensics and Communications Association Board of Directors and was the California State Representative for NCFCA – 1999-2005.
Mrs. Sheffield coached San Jose area debaters from 1998-2007 and individual event competitors from 2001-2005, and served in key roles for NCFCA Regional Tournaments. Under her direction, the San Jose [Clash Debate Club](https://www.clashdebate.org/ continued to produce some of the top speakers and debaters in the country. She also chaired the host committee for the 2001 NCFCA National Tournament in Santa Clara, California, and was the 2004 and 2005 National Tournament Director.
