Week Twenty- Nine

Our studies this week will cover more specifics about the realistic painting of the Renaissance artist.  We will take a closer look at Leonardo, Raphael, and Michelangelo.  Students will also complete a Renaissance Pocket on Thursday in class.  Next week students will look at the Reformation and the counter Reformation that swept over Europe.

 Wednesday April 30th

·        Review and chant your timeline 2 times.  Several students do not have their parts memorized!  Please practice with your child to see if they have their part perfected!

·        Read and complete questions attached to the handouts given on Michelangelo, Raphael, and Leonardo.

·        Read the information given out for your Renaissance Pocket.  After reading you are to neatly cut out the long paragraphs that will be placed in your pocket during Thursday class period.  Please do not leave this at home!  Make sure you have your scissors and glue sticks.

Monday, May 5th

·        Read chapter 11 from Story of the Middle Ages and write out 3 questions neatly on a note card.  Be prepared to hand these in on Tuesday.

My student has completed this weeks reading and assignments to the best of our ability at home.____________________________________________(signed)
