4th Grade History and Geography

Coursework

Week Seventeen

For the next two weeks in history class we will be looking at the magnificent style of architecture that became known as Gothic.  We will be creating some of our own “stained glass windows” as well as reading and looking at pictures of some incredible cathedrals.  We will be working hard on our countries of Europe and soon be tested on them.  Tuesday we have the privilege of shopping at the 3rd grade “Agora Marketplace” that they have worked to recreate!  Please have students check their supply boxes.   Several are missing their scissors and glue sticks which we will need over the next two weeks in class.

Wednesday, January 30th.

·        Read chapter 56 from ACHOTW “Bibles Made of Stone and Glass”

·        Drill all of the following countries at home.  We have drilled them in class but we will be covering the remaining countries over the next two weeks.  We will then take our test and begin memorizing the capitals.
