Week Nine

This week we will be continuing our study of the Middle Ages. We will be studying the adventures and life of the Vikings or Norsemen. We will be using our text book and completing some in class activities. It is very important that you have your child complete the assigned reading.

Wednesday, November 7^th

· Write your own “saga” about your own voyage to Vineland. Use some of these terms for ideas about your story. It can be a short story but be creative and have fun. (Parents you may use chapter 4 from Story of the Middle Ages as a resource to aid you student. We read this chapter in class).

Monday, November 12th

· From your textbook Story of the Middle Ages begin reading at page 40 “Alfred the Great” through the rest of the chapter. Answer the following questions from your reading in complete sentences: (12,13,18)

· Complete Maps, Charts, and Graphs chapter 7. Have a parent correct and initial.

My student has completed this weeks reading and assignments to the best of our ability at home.
