Complete Lesson 2
from Maps, Charts, and Graphs and
bring to class.
o
Study handout on
continents and oceans. Make sure you are
able to identify from map hemispheres, prime meridian, equator, and the
directions of a compass rose as well as the 7 continents and 4 oceans. This is review material. We will have a quiz on Tuesday the 18th
on this.
Monday, September 17th
o
FOR REVIEW: Read aloud with a parent or by yourself chapters 17-21
in A Child’s History of the World
(King’s With Corkscrew…--All the Way Around the
World).
o
Illustrate on
your timelines that were handed out 5 different important dates or time periods
from our review thus far. You may color
a picture or cut out and paste a picture from the internet or a coloring book
page. Use you textbook, your Veritas cards (if you have them) or resources you have at
home to help you. Be sure to label the
date and the event or person you are illustrating.
I have read this assignment sheet entirely and my
student has completed their assignments this week to the best of their ability.
