Complete the Review exercises, page 568. Do the following sections: Writing a Summary, Identifying people and Ideas, Understanding Main Ideas, Reviewing Themes, and Thinking Critically. Label each section and question neatly and clearly. Write responses in complete sentences and paragraphs. Due Tuesday, September 25.

Read pages 160-165, Atlas of World History. Write one paragraph to summarize and discuss one topic here that intrigues you. Due 9/20.

2. Geography:

Begin to study and learn the locations of the nations of Europe (see map, page A8). Be prepared to identify them on a blank map of Europe (Sept. 20).

3. Extra Credit:

Write an essay in which you describe Napoleon and discuss his rise to power, the extent and nature of his power, and his impact on Europe. (At least 750 words; due Sept. 20.
