World War I and the Russian Revolution

1.  Read:

Tuesday: Read Chapter 27, section 4 (pages 714-717). Answer “Read and Discover” questions, 1,2,3 , and identify the six entities listed on page 714 (due 1/17).

Thursday: Read Chapter 27, section 5 (pages 718-723). Answer the “Read to Discover” questions on page 718 and identify the five items listed on the same page (due 1/22).

Important Note: I will not accept any papers written in pencil or any sloppy work. I will not accept any papers that are not written in complete sentences and paragraphs. I expect you to write thorough, correct, multi-sentence responses to the questions. You are ninth graders at LOA, not 3^rd graders on Mars.

2. Test: You will have a test on Tuesday, January 22, on the 19^th century. We will be reviewing for that test this week—you need to be alert, attentive, and engaged!
