1. Read: Read all of the documents in the packet. Write a response to the questions at the end of each of the selections, discussing the topics in the context of chapter 6 in the textbook.
2. Test: You will take the objective portion of the test on chapters 4 and 5 on Wednesday, in class. You will take the essay question at home.
4. Something Lovely and More: Read The Summer of 1787: The Men Who Invented the Constitution, by David O. Stewart, chapters 8-10. Summarize each chapter as though you were writing a news report about what happens. Due Thursday, November 1. (Be sure to mention names of significant “players”—Madison, Franklin, Mason, etc.).
