Assignment #15: January 21, 2008

1. Read: Read the news. Visit the websites of all of the remaining candidates for president (Obama, Edwards, Clinton, Giuliana, Huckabee, Thompson, McCain, Romney, Paul, Hunter). Be familiar with each candidate’s positions on taxes, the war, and immigration.

2. Current Events:

Once again, read the news—be prepared to take a quiz next week on events of significance in the news. Be sure you are familiar with what is going on in the following arenas: the primary elections, the war in Iraq, the economy, the developing political situations in Kenya and Pakistan, and any alarming events that surprise us this week.
