A.P. U.S. Government and Politics

Assignment #15: January 14, 2008

1.  Read:  Review your notes on all of the chapters we have covered.  Concentrate on the lists of terms at the end of each chapter, the specific examples that are discussed, and the topics of all of the chapter divisions.  Pay careful attention to Constitutional issues in each chapter.

2.  Current Events:

Once again, read the news—be prepared to take a quiz next week on events of significance in the news.  Be sure you are familiar with what is going on in the following arenas:  the primary elections, the war in Iraq, the economy, the developing political situations in Kenya and Pakistan, and any alarming events that surprise us this week.

3.  The Exam:  You will be taking a final exam on January 21.  It will cover all the chapters we have studied so far: 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15.  Prepare for the test by studying the questions on the review sheets, the terms defined in each chapter, and the notes you have taken.

*An A on this exam will earn you an A for the semester.
