Assignment #14: January 7, 2008

1. Read: Read and digest chapter fifteen. Write responses to the questions on the study sheets. Be prepared next week to a give correct, thorough, and detailed oral response to any question on the list—for a quiz grade.

2. Current Events:

Read the news—be prepared to take a quiz next week on events of significance in the news. Be sure you are familiar with what is going on in the following arenas: the primary elections, the war in Iraq, the economy, the developing political situations in Kenya and Pakistan, and any alarming events that surprise us this week.

3. The Exam: You will be taking a final exam on January 21. It will cover all the chapters we have studied so far: 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15. Prepare for the test by studying the questions on the review sheets, the terms defined in each chapter, and the notes you have taken.

*An A on this exam will earn you an A for the semester.
