LC	· Do as much as you can from the review pages (pp. 260-262) to help you review for the test this weekend. Bring it to class tomorrow to ask questions. You can complete these pages on Friday. · (Opt.) Review Comma Rules 4 and 5 on p. 52 and do the exercises on pp. 52 and 53 to be sure you understand.
WriteShop	· Complete Skill Builder15 Day 3 (p. 15-12). · If you haven’t yet, write the “Sloppy Copy” of your short story today.
Red Fern	Read chapters 12 -13.
Bible Memory	Begin memorizing Ephesians 4:1-6 today. Try to memorize verses 1 and 2 today.
CS3	Read pp. 496-499 in the GCB and do # 7-9 on p. 83 in CS3.
Poetry	I have decided not to assign further memorization this year. Be sure to continue improving your part for Mike Teavee (with enthusiasm!)

LC	· Complete review pages 260-262 and review for your test on Monday. · (Opt.) Review Apostrophe rules on p. 56 and do Think A, B, C, D and E on pp. 57-58.
WriteShop	Begin revising your short story. Remember to use active verbs, keep your verb tenses consistent, and start your sentences with a variety of sentence starters.
Red Fern	Read chapters 14-15
Bible Memory	Continue memorizing Ephesians 4:1-6 today. Review verses 1-2 and work on adding verses 3-4.
CS3	Read pp. 500-503 in the GCB and do #10-11 on p. 83 in CS3. Also, locate Crete, Malta and Rome on your map on p. 93.
Poetry	Recite your part from “Mike Teavee” by Roald Dahl to a parent having them read the parts before and after yours so you know when to come in.

LC	· Finish reviewing and take the Adverb Test sent home on Thursday. Be sure you have plenty of time and a quiet spot to concentrate. Bring it back to class tomorrow with your Unit 11 homework check sheet.
WriteShop	Complete revisions on your short story. Bring your revised first draft to class tomorrow to turn in, along with WriteShop Skill Builder 14, Day One (p. 14-9) and Lesson 15, Days One and Two (p. 15-10 and 15-11)
Red Fern	Read chapters 16-17.
Bible Memory	Review Ephesians 4:1-4 today. Try to memorize verses 5-6 today, too, but you may use Wednesday to complete this if you need to. If you know it all, recite it to a parent and have them sign it off on your checksheet.
CS3	Read pp. 504-507 in the GCB and do #1-4 on p. 85 of CS3.
Poetry	Continue working on “Mike Teavee.”
