LC

  • Be sure you have completed (and checked!) all assignments from Unit 10 on Adjectives by having a parent sign off the check sheet distributed in class yesterday.  Review the “Looking Back” section on pp. 230-234.
  • If possible, take the Unit 10 test also distributed in class yesterday.  IF YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN THINGS OVER BREAK, let me know tomorrow and take the weekend to complete this test.

Writing

Spend another 20 minutes taking notes for your research paper.  We will discuss outlines in class tomorrow.

Treasure Island

Read chapters 16-18 today.  Review the vocab. words from Part Two (see p. 6 of your vocab. packet) for a quiz tomorrow - and maybe a content “pop” quiz?  This would be a general “what’s happening” quiz.

Bible Memory

Keep working on John 3:16-19 today.  Review verses 16-17 and begin working on verse 18!

CS3

Finish Lesson 19 on pp. 62-63 by doing the memory verse questions on p. 62 and locating all the regions of Pentecost travelers listed at the bottom of p. 63 (#9) on the map on p. 75.  We will memorize some of these for the review test in two weeks.

Poetry

Memorize lines 1-16 of your poem this week.

Bible Memory

Keep memorizing John 3:16-19 today.  If you wish, recite it to a parent and have them sign it off on your check sheet.  If not, take one more day to complete this on Monday.  Next week’s memory work is short!

CS3

Read pp. 466-467 in the GCB up to “Saul is Converted”.  Do #1-4 on p. 65 of CS3.

Poetry

Work on lines 17-20 of your poem today.  You should be getting close to knowing the whole thing!!  If you’ve been postponing this project, you had better get to work.
