Language C (LC) – Do p. 160, Think. Have a parent correct your work.
Write Shop I -- Revise the First Draft of your “Describing a Season” paragraph today and print out or handwrite a Final Draft using the comments on your paper as a guide. Be sure to turn in Skill Builders 5 (Day 1) and 6 (all days) tomorrow with your final draft if you have not done so previously. Also, any other papers you would like to have revised before Open House, this is your last chance.
Rifles for Watie – Read Chapters 17-18. No Study Guide questions.
Bible Memory – Keep working on the names of the first 22 books of the Bible. Check the front of your Bible for the order if it is not listed on your Bible Memory sheet.
Christian Studies 3 – Read “The Beheading of John the Baptist” on pp. 400-401 of the Golden Children’s Bible. Do Q’s # 8-9 on p. 25.
Poetry – Recite your lines for “Daniel Boone” and all of “Battle Hymn” to someone in your family. We will try to hear some recitations tomorrow.

WS1 – If you are too busy practicing for Open House today, you can take a break. If you want to finish it before Thanksgiving, write the First Draft of your Lesson 7 “Describing a Place/Battlefield” and put it in a safe spot until after break!
Rifles – Read chapter 19. (Please catch up to us in this book over break if you are behind! We will finish this soon after break and write our evaluations.)
Bible Memory – Say (or sing!) the first 22 books of the Bible to a parent and have them check it off for you.
CS3 – Catch up through the end of Lesson 8 (p. 25).
Poetry – Practice for Open House tonight! See you there!

LC – Read through the blue and yellow boxes on p. 161. Do Think A on p. 162. Have a parent grade your work and help you understand any mistakes.
WS1 – Finish your First Draft (Lesson 7) and all Skill Builders 7. Bring them to class tomorrow to turn in.
Rifles – Read chapter 20.
Bible Memory – Begin reviewing the Old Testament books of the Prophets (Isaiah to Malachi).
CS3 – Read pp. 402 – 405. Do Q’s #1-4 on p. 27. Bring these to class tomorrow so I can check them for homework credit.
Poetry – Review “Battle Hymn” for recitation. We will begin a new poem this week.
