Language C (LC) – pp. 130-131, Think A, B, and C.
Write Shop I (WS1) -- Using the Lesson 3: Student Writing Skills Checklist, carefully check and revise your Òsloppy copyÓ of your Describing a Person paper. Rewrite or revise it into your First Draft to be turned in on Thursday. Check to see that all Skill Builders from Lesson 3 are also complete.
Tom Sawyer – Read chapters 29 – 30. Begin planning your final project – the map of Tom SawyerÕs world.
Bible Memory – Memorize the entire first two paragraphs of the Nicene Creed from ÒWe believe in one God . . . to . . . kingdom shall have no end.Ó
Christian Studies 3 (CS3) – Read pp. 370-372 up through ÒJesus Heals on the Sabbath DayÓ. Do p. 9, #5-6.
Poetry – You should know all but the last 4 lines of your stanza of ÒDaniel BooneÓ now. Anyone who wants to recite their stanza before Fall Break may do so in class on Thursday. All others will recite in two weeks on October 18.

LC – p. 132, Think D. Also p. 137, Practice – Do these orally with a parent. Only write down any forms you donÕt already know so you can see them easily to review.
WS1 – Complete Skill Builder Day One on page 4-5. Brainstorm some details of a character from Tom Sawyer using the Observing a Circus Performer Worksheet (changed to Observing a Character) on page 4-3.
Tom Sawyer – Read chapters 31-32. Think about catching up over fall break if you are behind, and donÕt forget to work on your map project!
Bible Memory – Memorize the paragraph of the Nicene Creed on the Holy Spirit. Can you say the whole thing up to here? You may want to go ahead and finish this off so Mom or Dad can sign it off if you will forget it over Fall Break. Only one more day on this!
CS3 – Finish page 9 and read through page 375 in the Golden ChildrenÕs Bible.
Poetry – Finish memorizing your stanza of ÒDaniel BooneÓ if you have not done so. WeÕre reciting after Fall Break.

WS1 – Do Skill Builder Day 2 on page 4-5. Write a Sloppy Copy of your description of a Character from Tom Sawyer. Use your notes from before fall break.
Tom Sawyer – If you havenÕt yet, finish the book (chpts. 33-35). DonÕt forget your map project due Thursday!
Bible Memory – Finish memorizing The Nicene Creed. Recite it to Mom or Dad.
CS3 – Begin ÒThe Sermon on the MountÓ on p. 376. Do p. 11, # 1-2.
Poetry – Review and polish your stanza of ÒDaniel Boone.Ó
