Wednesday, 9/5 (Home day)

• Parent teaches Lesson 3 and 4: Multiplying and Dividing Whole Numbers
• Work-text Lesson 3 - Class Practice: 1- 3 (black letters only)

Review: (Optional, at parents’ discretion.)

• Work-text Lesson 4 - 1- 7 (black letters only), 8b., 8c.

• Speed Drills: 3 and 4

Thursday, 9/6 (LOA day)

• Lessons 5 and 6: Writing Large Numbers and Review
• Work-text Lesson 5 - All
• Work-text Lesson 6 – Class Practice: 1-5 (black letters only)
• Speed Drills: 5 and 6

Friday, 9/7 (Home day)

• Lesson 7: General Review
• Work-text Lesson 7 - All
• Speed Drill: Quiz 1

Monday, 9/10 (Home day)

• Parent teaches Lesson 8: Averaging Numbers
• Work-text Lesson 8 - Class Practice: 1- 4, Review: (Optional)
• Speed Drill: 8

 Notes:

1. Lessons are on both the front and back of each page.
2. Parents (or students) should check the class work assigned for the “Home Days” and students should correct the wrong problems as soon as possible.
3. For Quizzes and Tests, give points according the Teacher’s Key.
4. For Speed Drills, write the number correct.
5. “Homework” problems (starting on pg. 350) may be assigned in addition to the lesson and drills. Parents are always welcome to assign additional problems.  
6. Assign extra review problems and use flash cards and oral drills to help your child as needed.
