Week 6, 10/16-10/22

 

For consistency throughout the LOA Latin program, I will begin teaching the students the classical Latin pronunciation starting this week.  This will be a change from the ecclesiastical pronunciation used in the Latina Christiana program, including on the CD’s, for those of you who might be using them.  I will send a pronunciation guide home this week to help with the transition.  Please contact me if you have any questions.

 

 

Wednesday, October 17th

 

Latina Christiana – Lesson VI, pg 20 and 21

 

-     Write vocabulary words and grammar form on 3x5 index cards to utilize as review flash cards throughout the course.

-     Practice reciting and memorize Latin saying, vocabulary and grammar forms at least 3 times.

-     Read The Tarquins:  pages 19-23

                        -     Exercises – pg 21

-    Take Lesson 6 Quiz (Turn into class Tuesday)
