-     Pg. 8, write vocabulary words and grammar form on 3x5 index cards. Practice reciting and memorize Latin saying, vocabulary and grammar forms at least 3 times (using the CD for correct pronunciation if you have it). 

                        -     Pg. 9, do B and C

           

Friday, September 7th

-          Pg. 10, write vocabulary words on 3x5 index cards. Practice reciting and memorize Latin saying, vocabulary and grammar at least 3 times (using the CD for correct pronunciation if you have it).

-          Recite Table Blessing 2 times

-          Pg. 10, practice reciting and memorize Latin saying, vocabulary and grammar forms in preparation for in-class quiz on Tuesday.

Some tips on memorization: 

 

Try to space memorization out through each day.  Several short periods are often more effective than one long session.  For example, try doing a couple of minutes on one section in the car, then three minutes between activities later.  Try different methods to see what works best for you: illustrating the flashcards, writing out the words on paper or in the air, having someone dictate to you or quiz you, or saying them out loud.  Don’t forget to pay attention to the spelling.  Staying current with learning vocabulary will build a strong base toward future Latin learning.
