□ Recite, write, review, and  learn all grammar numbers from the “Assignments” for Lesson 11 in the Grammar Numbers section of your notebooks.

□ Write, review and learn all vocabulary from Lesson 11.

□ Write ex. 151, even numbers

Friday, October 6th

□ Read Ecce Romani Chapter 5 out-loud in Latin.  Try to understand it as you read it. Now recite the vocabulary from each chapter out-loud and read their English meanings 2 times.  Reread the Latin to yourself and glance at the vocab. as you go. Do you understand it now?

□ Write, recite review and learn all grammar numbers from the “Assignments” for Lesson 12 and 13 in the Grammar Numbers section of your notebooks.

□ Write, recite, review and learn vocabulary for Lessons 12 and 13. These are the 3rd and 4th conjugations.  Remember, conjugations “1, and 2 have “bo’s” in their future while the 3rd and 4th are “old maids” so to speak. Recite the verbs out-loud with their principle parts following the patterns, i.e. “defendo, defendere, defendi, defensus” and “audio, audire, audivi, auditus.

□ Write ex. 167, all.

□ Review Lessons 12 and 13, grammar numbers and vocabulary

□ Write ex. 172 evens

Prepare for quiz on Tuesday in class on 3rd and 4th conjugation verb forms for present, imperfect, and future tenses.

Ecce Romani

 □ Readand understand Ecce Romani Chapter 5 out-loud in Latin. Write Responde Latine 5a, and drill vocabulary.

□ Study for quiz in class on Tuessday, Oct. 10rd on verb forms and vocabulary from Lessons 12 and 13. Know principle parts of all verbs and how to recognize and translate the present, imperfect and future tenses for the 3rd and 4th conjugations.
