Christian Studies/Latin Review Assignments, week of May 8th, due Tuesday, May 15th.

 

Your Latin for the week is as follows:

Please recite the vocabulary from Latina Christiana I, Lessons XX, XXI, and XXII, 3 times per day today, Friday, and Monday.  If you do not have Latina Christiana I, please find me tomorrow and I will give you the hand-outs.  Write and recite the five declensions below twice today,  Friday, and Monday. Now see if you can write and recite them from memory.

If you have not written out quotations from previous weeks, please do so for prize.

If you have not taken quotations test, please be prepared to do so for a prize.

Nota bene: When everyone in the class has taken and passed the quotation test and can write the 5 declensions and the neuters from memory, we will have a celebration.

Latin chants for the week are 5 declensions below:

1st:   a, ae ae, am a, ae arum, is, as, is

2nd:  us, i, o, um, o, i, orum, is, os , is

2nd neuter:  um, i, o, um, o, a, orum, is, a, is

3rd:  x, is, i, em, e, es, um, ibus, es, ibus

3rd neuter:  x, is, i, x, e, a, um, ibus, a, ibus

4th:  us, us, ui, um, u, us, uum, ibus, us, ibus

5th:  es, ei, ei, em, e, es, erum, ebus, es, ebus

Also, write the chants above on a separate piece of paper: Recite as you write. Now try to write them from memory.
