· Drill vocab. chant and quotation Lessons XXI to XXV. ( Remember the take home test on Tuesday, May 2^nd, due Thursday, May 4th)

· Review Famous Men of Rome pp. 87-90.

· Know the following people, places and terms:

Pompey the Great, pirates

· Know the answers to the following questions:

· Where are the pirates from and what did they do?

· What did Pompey do to rid the sea of pirates? What territories did Rome rule during his rule?

· Why was he in favor with the Romans?

· What was his relationship to Sulla and Marius?

· Locate the following countries on a map and know their modern day capitals: England, Scotland, Ireland, Austria, Hungary, and Turkey.

· Place the following rulers of the Roman Republic in order: .Lucius Cornelius Sulla, Marcus Porcius Cato, Marus Atilus Regulus, Tiberius and Caius Gracchus, Publius Cornelius Scipio Africanus, Marcus P Porcius Cato, and Pompey the Great!
