Latin II/III Assignments, week of January 10th  (Week Fourteen)

Please note:  These assignments should take you 60 to 70 minutes each.

I recommend doing each of them during two sittings instead of one.  You will get more out of the time spent.

Latin quotations of the week.  Be sure you are writing these in your notebook. Try and translate these yourself. They are from the Bible.

“Ego venī ut vītam habeant et abundantius habeant.”

Hīs verbīs Chrīstus dē vītā grātiae agit, nam Chrīstus nōn vēnit ut in hōc mundō facilius vīverēmus sed ut grātiā in Deō vīverēmus et Deus in nōbīs.

 Translate the quotation above from the Latin Vulgate

Drill and study all vocab. from Henle Second Year Lessons 1-17.  There are approximately 160 words.  All are review from Henle 1st year. You will be given a take home test on these words on Thursday, January 12th due Tuesday, January 17th.

□ Drill and study all grammar numbers, vocab. and text from Henle First Year Lessons 36-42.

Also included on this test will be grammar and translation from those Lessons.
