Latin II/III Assignments, week of November 14st (Week Ten)

Please note:  These assignments should take you 60 to 70 minutes each.

I recommend doing each of them during two sittings instead of one.  You will get more out of the time spent. I am anxious to leave Henle I behind and move onto Caesar. J

Latin quotations of the week.  Be sure you are writing these in your notebook. You are responsible for them.

□ Review, review, review, vocab. and grammar numbers Lessons 28 to 34. Pay particular attention to the ablative constructions pp. 347-348.

□ Learn grammar numbers 84-88, and 822-828. Learn “note” at the bottom of  p. 374.

□ Write ex. 381, 1-3 and 382, 1-12, evens.

□ Study note on translation p. 378.

□ Study pp. 381-382.  Write vocab. and grammar #’s, pp.381-391.

□ Drill vocab. pp. 370-390.

□ Write ex. 385, # 1 and 2.

□ Write ex. 388, 1-3.

Friday, November 18th

□ Write and study vocab. and grammar nos. pp. 389-403.

□ Write ex. 397, all.

□ Write ex. 404 1-10, odds.

□ Review and study vocab. and grammar #’s Lessons 28-35.  There will be a take home test on these Lessons posted on November 21st, due November 29th.
