Dear Parents,

I apologize for not sending a review sheet home as I had mentioned on last week’s  assignment sheet.  I realized this too late.

This week,  the students are demonstrating liquid measurements in class and reviewing telling time to the minute.   In some way at home, please involve the student in telling time in real life situations on 2 hand and digitized clocks.  I have been asking questions in class such as:  What time will it be in 2 hours? Or what time was it 20 minutes ago?   They have been instructed in moving the minute and hour hands both clockwise and counterclockwise.  Complete the Telling Time handout page X-11 given last week,  to continue working on this time concept.

Congratulations on your child’s success on passing calculadders!  All of you have done such a great job in encouraging your child to memorize addition and subtraction math facts.  Keep up the great work!
