Dear Parents,
This week the students are learning liquid
measurements in class and reviewing telling time to the minute. The class work for this week includes skip
counting pints and quarts. In some way,
please involve the student in the kitchen to understand the difference between
cups, pints and quarts.
The children start applying skip counting skills in the Gamma Lesson 4 with
word problems. The Beta lesson 26 handouts
teach subtraction in the four digits. This
area on the test was the most challenging for the students in the class. Please
have the student check his/her work for these problems. I have assigned fewer problems to account for
this. There will be a test next Tuesday in
class. I will give a review sheet out on
Thursday to come home to prepare students.
