Dear Parents,

For the next 2 weeks we will be learning Delta 15 and 16. Delta 15 teaches Billions, trillions and expanded notation which will help the children understand place value.  Delta 16 teaches long division and for the last 2 weeks we have completed 16A and B  in class.  The students new to long division need to more time for this.  If this easy for your student, you may go on to lesson 18  and watch the video for instruction.  This Thursday will be a test in class covering Gamma lessons 24-29 and up to Delta 14 (excluding 13).  This week I have not assigned the Miquon book.  Next Thursday in class we will have a party.  Each of the children have saved their allowance to attend and I look forward to celebrating with them.
