Dear Parents,
I hope you are rested after a
break. We just have few weeks left to
go. We will go on to lesson Gamma 28 and
continue to practice multiplication with multiple digits. Only a few problems are assigned. Please see your teacher’s guide for
directions and watch the DVD lesson 28.
It teaches multiplying first and then adding everything up in contrast
to the process of the traditional way. The
teacher’s guide gives an explanation with a large problem being 3 different
numbers which helps the children see it not be so intimidating. Delta lesson 12
teaches division by 7’s and 8’s. This week I have assigned Miquon as an
optional assignment on graphs that the children have not done before for fun.
