Dear Parents,

This week we will be reviewing rounding and estimating in Math U See Gamma textbook lesson 22. In the Delta textbook the children will be learning dividing by 3’s and 5’s. Please bring Gamma and yellowbook textbooks to class this week. Please hand back math packets so that I may give the students their homework allowance. I will wait to give a test until next week so that everyone can get back in town and catch up. The test next week will cover Gamma 21 and up to Delta lesson 3.

Chant: 3 teaspoons equals 1 tablespoon

3 feet equals one yard

4 quarts equals one gallon

2 pints equals one quart

8 ounces equals one cup

4 quarters equals one dollar

Perimeter is adding the outside measurements

Area is multiplying the side measurements to get the space inside.
