Dear Parents,
This week for Math 3, the children
will review “Addition with Regrouping” or carrying. Please read the handout titled Lesson 7
Addition with Regrouping. Please use the
examples to teach your child at home and have the student demonstrate back to
you by building the problem using the manipulatives. This is when it is
important to do math every day so that the concept is reinforced in the
multisensory approach. It is important
your child understands this concept before we go on so please send me an e-mail
at Alicia@liveoakacademy.org if
any of these lessons are frustrating.
Please bring Yellow Miquon book to
class.
