Dear Parents,

This last week  I enjoyed  watching the children understand fractions a little more in class after building them on the board “handout C” examples and on their desks.  This week we will start learning division using Math U See Delta textbook with a concept we have been learning already area and solving for an unknown.  Please use blocks to assist learning these problems. This week word problems will be introduced solving for an unknown for the first time and assisting your student building the problem will assist him in solving it.   Please correct all math assignments and hand back math packets so that I may give the students their homework allowance.
