¨ Demonstration of switches.
Wednesday
¨ Review all of the vocabulary listed in glossary. Add the following:
Conduct: allows electricity to go through. ( metal conducts electricity)
¨ Read hand out titled “ To Flow Or Not To Flow” and complete handout after reading. We will go over them in next class.
¨ Please bring a fluorescent light bulb if you have any.
Thursday: Class
¨ Light bulbs
¨ Review all of the vocabulary listed in glossary.
¨ Read handout titled “The Nuts and Bolts of Light Bulbs” and complete handout after reading.
Monday:
¨ Review all of the vocabulary listed in glossary.
¨ Complete review handout given in class to prepare for test this week.
Field Trip opportunity: I would like to schedule a field trip for our third grade class to the Moah museum in Palo Alto. It is a very intimate museum with fabulous volunteers. I am interested in organizing a class on Electrostatics or Magnetism and Electromagnetism. Please e-mail me if you are interested. I believe you would be able to bring older siblings.
