  • Fall 1996—Spring 1998: Proctor and Teacher at St. Stephen’s Orthodox Academy, 65 E. Rincon Ave., Campbell, CA 95008. Now defunct, the Academy was a home school co-op for high school students. The first year I served as on-site supervisor and facilitator (= Proctor) and taught a course designed by Seton Home Study, Byzantine Religion 9. The second year I designed and taught a Bible Survey course (two semesters). These were volunteer (unpaid) activities.
  • Fall 1996—Spring 2000: Home school teacher for my daughter with special needs, using a high school curriculum designed under the auspices of Almaden Valley Christian School. She received her diploma in 2000.
  • I frequently preach and conduct Sunday chapel services at Lincoln Glen Manor (a senior care facility) when the chaplain is away. I also work there sporadically as a Resident Aide.
  • Two books published as well as numerous articles published in various scholarly journals, Bible dictionaries, and Bible encyclopedias.


  • As of August 2016, I am 61, married 39 years, with two grown daughters and four grandchildren
