They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations. - Isaiah 61

Live Oak Academy provides a Christian, classical, and collaborative educational service for home school families.

As individuals and as an academy, our Christian faith is of first, formative, and final importance to us. Live Oak Academy is founded in prayer, it operates according to Christian principles, and it seeks to further the purposes of Jesus Christ, especially in the lives of the students we teach. We seek to raise a generation of ambassadors for Christ who successfully meet the challenges of mental discipline and academic responsibility.

As a classical educational service, we find sound guidance in the ancient educational practices of the Trivium and Quadrivium as adapted and interpreted by the Christians of the Middle ages. Unfamiliar with the classical model? Learn more about our educational philosophy and classical education.

As a collaborative educational service, we provide part-time assistance to the schooling process which is primarily supervised by parents. We select and direct the scope and sequence of study, the curriculum, and the assignments.

Live Oak Academy offers a holistic, well-integrated, education that aims to shape excellence in academics, faith, and virtue. Our curriculum is based on a language intensive foundation, a rigorous science and math program, and history and literature classes taught within the classical tradition. Students are enriched through our special programs of Latin, logic, apologetics, art, and choir.
